Final Farewell 5th Grade Parents!

Thank you for sharing your child with me this school year - this very UNIQUE school year. Sometimes 5th grade is considered a year when you cannot see a lot of growth, academically or physically. But this year, for sure, I have been able to see your child grow in many ways!

From confidence, hair changes, style choices, managing academics, friendship developments, maturity, and of course height! These are always a highlight for a teacher to reflect upon at the end of a school year.

Truly, your child is ready for Middle School.

In the future, if I can assist you or your child in any way, please reach out to me. I have written many letters of recommendation for past students and would be very pleased to help! If there is any advice I can provide as your child moves on, I would have to say, do not accept the one word responses or answers - dive in more through conversation and spend quality time with your child. Make that oh so important eye contact. These next few years are so important! You are their safety net.
