Optional Early Check-In (Materials Pickup)

📍 Location: El Camino College Parking Lot J (in front of Marsee Auditorium-See Map for drive thru instructions)
📝 Note: This is only for picking up t-shirts, tickets, and badges—not for board setup. If you come to this you do not need to “Check-In” on Saturday, just head straight to the North Gym for Board set-up. 

California Invention Convention Event Details

📍 Location: El Camino College
📅 Date: Saturday, March 29th
🚗 Parking: Lot H (1029 Redondo Beach Blvd, Torrance, CA 90506) – Use this address in your navigation. We have prepaid for parking, but you must print this parking pass. Limited copies will be available on-site. If you don’t have a pass, parking is $3 (cash only, no change). [View map here]

Event Schedule

🕘 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Judging (North Gym)--See exact times below
🕝 2:45 PM - 3:15 PM: Inventors Hall Public Presentations – Inventors stand by their boards and give a 1-minute pitch. Judges may still be evaluating. Family members should give space and enjoy talking to other inventors.
🕞 3:20 PM: Marsee Auditorium- Inventors will sit together on the first floor.

🎤 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Awards Ceremony – Students will sit by grade level (not with guests). Please remain for the full event.

Awards Ceremony Tickets

🎟️ Each student receives up to 3 tickets (inventor needs one too!). Due to limited seating, we cannot provide extras until all inventors have received their tickets. 

🎟️ Additional tickets (if available) will be released at 12:00 PM at the registration table (first come, first served).
