Day 20--9/12/14 Driving through the Black Hills to Mount Rushmore

This morning we woke up to heavy frost on the windshield. We left Billings and drove for miles and miles through Montana (what a big state of wide open countryside). We drove through the Crow Nation Territory and the Northern Cheyenne Territory. The countryside was dotted with horses, antelope, sheep, and casinos. At times there seemed to be as many casinos as horses. We left the mountains of the Treasure State behind and cut through the northeast corner of Wyoming before entering South Dakota and the Black Hills.
