Day 6 - Stanley Park
Every morning along with the delicious breakfast, the good company of the guests, and our wonderful hosts, we were joined by Steller's Jays on the main balcony. They are similar to our Blue Jays except for the fact that they have a black head with a solid blue body.
The weather today was hazy but still a pleasant 72 degrees with a mild ocean breeze.
We spent most of the day exploring Stanley Park, a 1,000 acre public park that borders the downtown of Vancouver and which is almost entirely surrounded by waters of the Pacific Ocean. The park features the sea wall and forest trails, beaches, and lakes. It has an estimated half million trees, some of which stand 250 feet and are hundreds of years old.
