Day 4 - Blue Hill Peninsula & Little Deer Isle
Today was our first cloudy morning, but by noon the sun was back out. We took a ride to the Blue Hill Peninsula and Little Deer Isle in Downeast Acadia. Our first stop was at Castine, a quaint and historic seaside village on Penobscot Bay with beautiful old homes and historic inns on elm tree-lined streets. It Is one of the oldest communities in North America. The town is on the National Historic Register and home to the Maine Maritime Academy and Dyce Head Lighthouse.
