Day 12 -  Scenic Vistas, Snow Crab and a Sunset

A nice stiff breeze helped to clear up yesterday’s bad weather. No rain today but still some clouds with interludes of sunshine. Today’s high temperature was in the mid-sixties. After breakfast we went to the Cape Breton National park visitor’s center and watched a short movie, viewed the exhibits and talked to a park ranger who helped us plan which trails we would be exploring. We then drove a few miles into the park and stopped at the first series of scenic overlooks. The views were just fantastic!
