Day 1 - 8/22/2018  Our Journey Begins

Our first day gets us as far as Chicago.  Rather than trying to fly to Anchorage in one day and arrive late in the evening, we thought it best to hop an afternoon flight from Syracuse to O'Hare airport.  We are staying at the Hilton located right  here in the airport.  It was nice to be able to pick up our luggage and just walk through their tunnel system to our hotel .  The Hilton is a great place to stay and surprisingly we don't hear any airplane noise.  Tomorrow morning we will catch a direct flight to Anchorage.
