Tumwater Hill Elementary will be holding our first ever online talent show… THE’s Quarantalents!
If you’re interested in auditioning this year, please read all of the information carefully and fill out the Google Form.
Timeline:
Friday, June 5th – Video audition & complete Google form DUE
Monday, June 8th – Participants selected and everyone notified via email
Friday, June 12th – Video re-submission (to make improvements, if selected)
Wednesday, June 17th – Final show link emailed to all THE families for virtual viewing party!
Performers:
Any Tumwater Hill K-5 student is able to audition for the show. It is ok to have additional members (instructors, family members, etc.) who are not students to join you in your act.
Talents:
Possible talents: singing, dancing, gymnastics, magic, juggling, comedy, drama, puppets, jump rope/hula hoop routines, instruments (piano, guitar, ukulele, band/orchestra instruments, etc.!) and more! Your audience ranges from ages 5-12. Keep that in mind when selecting your act.
*Please note, If you are singing, you may not sing with the singer of the song. You must provide a karaoke version of the song and sing with that, or sing along with someone playing guitar/piano, etc. We want to hear YOU sing. If you need to edit the length of your song, besides just a simple fade out, email Mrs. Stoker.
Audition video:

Please prepare an audition video of your talent, 2 minutes or less! Record yourself as many times as you need and send in your very best version. It should be a well-rehearsed number in the outfit you plan on performing in (most likely this video will be your FINAL video for the show). All outfits must follow the school dress code. Acts will be selected on a variety of criteria, including delivery, stage presence, audience appeal, and talent.
If you would like to introduce yourself with only your first name and your talent in your video, you may do so. Since we’re virtual this year, we will not have a program to read, so it’s nice to know what song you’re doing, etc.

If selected:
IF your act is selected for this year's show and the panel says your audition video is great AS IS (and if YOU are satisfied with it), we can use it for the final show. If you have some improvements to make, you will need to record your audition again and re-submit it by Friday, June 12th. THE’s Quarantalents will “air” on Wednesday, June 17th. We will send the entire school the link to the video compilation.
