We switched to online classes owing to the COVID-19 pandemic using Google Meet for an online meeting system. However, several problems associated with conducting online examinations emerge, such as fairness. This inspired us to develop a system for online examinations devoid of such issues. This paper discusses the online examination system we developed using GAS for university students and describes the development environment and function of the system. A developing system adopts Google services, i.e., Spreadsheet, Forms, Drive. GAS, the editor, simultaneously manipulates these applications. The system we developed entails four functions:(1)creating a choice-based examination on Spreadsheet from the questions list created in advance, (2)sharing the created Spreadsheet with a student as a viewer,(3)ending the reception of created forms for answer destination, and(4)scoring for acquired answers from students using Forms. The created files and acquired data were saved in the Drive. These functions were added to the default menu of a Google Document form for a user interface because of its availability to everyone, including beginners unaware of GAS. We confirmed the operation of this system using temporary data, and the developed system progressed as expected. We concluded this as a versatile system for stepping choice-based exams like the national exams for medical qualification.
