Hi! I'm Kim Dwyer, and chances are if you're here, you're one of my students or a family member of one! I'm really excited to be teaching at Twality Middle School this year. I have been teaching for 22 years, 20 of those years in the Tigard-Tualatin School District. I taught 5th grade at Metzger Elementary School for 7 years, then moved to Alberta Rider Elementary School for 11 years. While at Alberta Rider, I taught 5th grade, Library, Technology, and 3rd grade. All those experiences taught me so many different things, and reinforced my love of education no matter what I'm teaching.

I came to Oregon about 21 years ago from the Los Angeles area in California where I was born and raised. I often miss the sunshine, but, I love Oregon's cooler temperatures, and lush, green surroundings. I live in Portland, with my son who is a 7th grader this year (in a different middle school)! When I'm not watching him play sports, I like to read, cook, hike, kayak, see movies, and make jewelry from wire and beads.
