Chez Carmen is known for its delicious local recipes from the South-West, and a great wine list too. For this special evening, they’ve even created a menu especially for international students. Before we eat, from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM, we’ll run some fun team-building games to help you meet everyone in the group. The idea is simple: have fun, laugh a little, and make sure no one eats alone!
Vegetarian and vegan options available. Participants will receive a link to the WhatsApp group for the event once the registration is complete.

Wine & Cheese tasting
Wine & Cheese tasting
A guided introduction to two pillars of French culture: wine and cheese. Beyond the tasting itself, it's an easy, relaxed setting to keep getting to know the people you'll be spending the year with, while picking up the basics of how to talk about a wine like a local.
Over the evening, you will taste four different wines from the region, and we will walk you through how to actually taste them: how to look, smell and sip like you mean it, alongside twelve different local cheeses picked to go with each glass. No wine expertise needed, just curiosity and an appetite. It is a great way to meet other students in a laid-back setting, away from campus.
Once you are registered, you will get the link to the WhatsApp group for the evening in your confirmation email.

Meet Le RAYON 31 UT Capitole, a social grocery shop whose objective is to help students in financial difficulty to have access to healthy, balanced and varied food at low prices. The grocery shop offers self-service fresh produce: fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, dairy products, dry goods, canned goods, savoury and sweet items, frozen goods, as well as personal hygiene and cleaning products at reduced prices.
