Letter to First Grade Teachers.
Hello First Grade Teachers,
We have an exciting opportunity for you and your students. The Loveland Public Library is partnering with our district to offer our first graders a special field trip. Each visit will include: (1) children's department tour (2) story time with a librarian (3) browsing and check-out of one book per student (4) if additional time remains, first graders might enjoy Self Serve StoryWalk or the new park.
The hope is through this partnership, our Thompson First Graders will understand that the library is a place to connect with the community and experience reading for fun! Additionally, the goal is for every first grader in our district to have their very own library card!
Please select a date that works for your entire first grade team on the “SighUp Genius” link below. Once you have selected your date more information about logistics will be shared with you.
