My name is Stephanie Montoya. I'm very excited to be a Kindergarten teacher again this year at Klondike Elementary. This will be my 10th year at Klondike. I have taught 16 years so far! I took 8 years off when my girls were little and then came back into the teaching world when they started school.  I've taught 5th grade, 1st grade, and Kindergarten in three different states. Teaching Kindergarten is a rewarding job that I feel blessed to continue to do each day. I see many changes in each child throughout the school year, and I enjoy being a part of the learning process for each child.  I love that I can help lead the children of the future. 

My family includes my husband Travis, daughter Hannah (19), and Haley (17). Hannah is going to be a Sophomore at Purdue University this year. Haley will be a Senior at Harrison High School. Wow, time is going so fast and I soak up the time with them when I can. :) 

 I'm excited to start this school year and watch each child in class grow individually on their own level. If we work as a team, the students will have a great year in Kindergarten and grow academically and socially.
