About Miss Shields
- I grew up in a small town in northwest Indiana and moved to West Lafayette in 2016. I stayed because I love the community and my church here!
- I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Spanish and a degree in Elementary Education (plus a concentration in Reading).
- This is my third year teaching fourth grade at Klondike Elementary.
- I have a brother, four sisters, and five adorable nieces and nephews.
- When I have free time, I like to travel, read, write poetry, hike, spend time with friends, and experiment with new recipes. I am also very active in my church and enjoy serving and fellowshipping there.
