Welcome to Room 711! My name is Becky Thompson and this is my seventh year teaching at Klondike Elementary.

My husband Bryan and I have four kids. Our oldest Kayla teaches 4th grade at WEA Ridge Elementary, Emily is a senior at Purdue and doing her student teaching right here at Klondike in 2nd grade, Nolan is a senior at Harrison and Brett is a junior at Harrison.
My family moved to West Lafayette in 2014 and we chose our home because of the schools (specifically Klondike & Harrison). I have been nothing but impressed with Klondike (and Harrison) as a parent. I completed my student teaching here at Klondike in first grade. This year is a new adventure for me and I am excited for the year and the new things the students and myself will be learning in room 711.
