My name is Becky Thompson and this is my eighth year teaching at KES.
My name is Becky Thompson and this is my eighth year teaching at KES.
My husband Bryan and I have four kids. Our oldest Kayla teaches 3rd grade at North Wayne Elementary School in Indianapolis, Emily is a a 3rd grade teacher at Wea Ridge Elementary, Nolan is attending Ivy Tech and Brett joined the Army and left over the summer for basic training. Bryan and I are also blessed with one grandson, Henry.
My family moved to West Lafayette in 2014 and we chose our home because of the schools (specifically Klondike & Harrison). I have been nothing but impressed with Klondike (and Harrison) as a parent. I completed my student teaching here at Klondike in first grade. I was a sub interventionist, an interventionist and a long term sub before Mr. Peters hired me as a 3rd grade teacher. I taught third grade from 2017 - 2023 . I moved to SPED in 2023 - 2024.
