Welcome to Kindergarten!

My name is Miss Kaleigh Scheumann and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! We will have such a wonderful year in Kindergarten together. 

I am from Lafayette, Indiana where I attended Wea Ridge Elementary School from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. I am so excited to be back at the school that started my love for learning. I graduated from Purdue University this past May 2025 with my degree in Elementary Education. 

Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, lifting, running, and spending time with my loved ones. 

I am so excited for my first year of teaching!
