I can't wait to get to know your child this year! I would love to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Carly Summers, and I am very excited to begin my 12th year as a kindergarten teacher at Wyandotte. I grew up in West Lafayette and attended Purdue where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a reading endorsement. I reside locally with my husband and children.
It is my hope that your child will have a fun and exciting first year of school. We will study and explore many thematic units. I hope that they will develop a love for learning that will last for years to come. As a parent, I know how important your child is to you! It takes a village.
