Johnson Hills

Mrs. Johnson

2024-2025

Welcome to Johnson Hills!

In our classroom we work to build a strong sense of community and think of ourselves as a family. We are respectful and kind, generous and helpful. We are there to pick each other up when we’re down and celebrate each other’s successes. Our classroom theme is MOUNTAINS and I love thinking of learning as an adventure and climb to beautiful views. We focus on "moving mountains" as we learn new things together.  My goal and heart for Johnson Hills is to create a positive and connected learning environment to unleash the incredible potential of my students.

The purpose of this website is to provide resources to our full year of learning.  You will find information about classroom expectations, grading policies, sight word documents, as well as parent resources.

About Mrs. Johnson

My name is Anna Johnson, and I am excited to be your child’s teacher this year! This will be my 18th year in education, and my fifth year in 1st grade!  I graduated from Purdue University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in health education. I am licensed to teach general education grades K-6. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. My mom taught 8th grade science for 27 years and her unwavering dedication to her work and students inspired me to follow in her footsteps.  I have always known this is what I am meant to do!

My family is a blessed and blended family of 5.  My husband, Derek, and I have 3 children.  Jack is a junior at Harrison, Luke is a freshman at Harrison, and Ezra is a 7th grader at Battle Ground Middle! We are a busy family with our 3 kids, but we all love being apart of the TSC community.

I will do everything that I can to make it a positive, safe, and memorable experience for your 1st grade child. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year and getting to know your family!
