We are lucky enough to be 1:1 with Chromebooks in second grade! Last year, each student had an iPad at school but did not take it home. They will have the same relationship with the Chromebook this year. This is a big change for our little learners! If you are seeing this in the summer, feel free to have your child begin working on their typing skills! We will spend time getting to know the basics of our Chromebook in the first few weeks of school. I am a firm believer that our little learners need pencils (and crayons) in their hands. The Chromebook will be used each day, however, your child will spend much more time with books, pencils, and scissors in their hands rather than their Chromebooks.
