The WHC shepherds the city owned 1832 Kinsman House. Our mission is to serve as an educational institution that preserves and uses its collections, historic site and museum to explore the history and culture of the City of Warren.
Located in the heart of historic Warren, Ohio the Warren Heritage Center sits between the downtown square and the notable Perkins Neighborhood residing in the 1832 Kinsman House. This is the oldest home on "Millionaires Row". The Kinsman Family were a driving force to the development of the city of Warren, friends of presidents, senators and judges and industrial leaders. The home was also the home of Hiram College, housing the Dana School of Music in the 1930's and classes with a more individual focus of teaching for the time. Since the 1940'sit has been locally owned, first as a county building and now the city of Warren. The WHC has shepherd the home since 2012 to maintain and upkeep the interior of this important historic structure.
We are just off courthouse square next to the Veterans Memorial, above the amphitheatre and Perkins Park and across the street from the First Presbyterian Church of Warren.
Paved parking next to the building and an elevator is accessible by a paved sidewalk.
