The society is made up of a small group of township residents who work together to uncover, learn, and preserve history in and around Johnston Twp.
The society meets in Johnston's historic Old Town Hall. There are small displays inside of local history and a number of class pictures of old Johnston Twp High School. The Johnston Historical Society is always adding to its collection!

Town hall has a well-graded gravel parking lot. A ramp is available. Bathrooms are available. The building is NOT air conditioned for summer months.
