Bristol Public Library first opened it's historical collection in the 1970s. It is located on the second floor and includes early artifacts, historical papers, letters, photographs, and family histories of Bristol Township. It is presently being catalogued and put on the Catalogit site and can be accessed through the library website.
Bristol Public Library was started by the citizens of Bristol Township in 1908 with the citizens donating books and with the help of the Ohio State Lending Library. The original site was in Congregational Church until the trustees of the library wrote to Andrew Carnegie and received $6,000 for the building that was opened in April of 1912. It remains one of three Carnegie Libraries in Trumbull County. The library is an Official Ohio Historical Marker.
Paved, onsite parking is available. The historical section is located on the second floor which is accessible by stairs and elevator. Ample parking is available and has wifi.
