Dear Partners in Education,
My Toms River Regional School District team is hard at work planning the 5th year of our groundbreaking educational community event for October 12, 2019. For the past four years, over 400 maker-participants-- including schools from NJ, NY and PA, companies, regional businesses, organizations, and community members-- have shared interactive activities with over 13,000 attendees.
As a public school we are, of course, non-profit. We are especially proud that, with the support of many district volunteers, fellow educators, and key sponsors, the event is free of cost to both our makers and to all attendees. We want there to be no barriers to collaboration and participation in what makers have to offer!
The event and its sponsors are advertised across NJ and into the NYC and Philadelphia area in print, on the web, and across social media, and sponsor names and logos are prominently featured at the event itself, which takes place in our 3200-seat arena and in four other spaces across the 2100-student High School North campus. We have been featured on the radio and in the Asbury Park Press, Patch, and the NJSBA Leadership Magazine.
Thanks to our 2018 Sponsors
(who help grow the fest and make it free for all every year!)
