Concussions

What do I do if my child has sustained a Concussion? 

• Notify your school nurse

• Obtain a note from your child's doctor stating the diagnosis, treatment and restrictions.

• If your child has been diagnosed with a concussion, a specific plan of care will be developed in order for your child to return to academics.

• If your child obtains a significant head bump while at school you will be contacted using the information listed on your emergency contact.
