Valorant is a first-person tactical shooter and hero-based game. A first-person shooter is a style of game that puts the camera in the eyes of the character. A tactical shooter focuses on teamwork, strategy, communication, and accurate shooting. Valorant is also hero-based because players choose from a variety of characters, called Agents, who each have their own unique abilities.

Valorant is a team-based game with 5 players on each team. During a match, one team attacks while the other team defends. The attacking team's goal is to plant a device called the Spike at one of the designated sites on the map. The defending team must prevent the Spike from being planted or defuse it before it explodes. Teams can also win a round by eliminating the entire opposing team.

Each player chooses an Agent to play during the match. Agents are divided into different roles, including Duelists, Initiators, Controllers, and Sentinels. Duelists are usually aggressive players who help lead the team's attacks. Initiators use their abilities to gather information and help their teammates enter areas safely. Controllers can block areas of the map and limit what the opposing team can see. Sentinels specialize in defending areas, watching for enemies, and supporting their teammates.

At the beginning of each round, players use credits they have earned to purchase weapons, armor, and abilities. This means teams must also manage their money and decide when to buy better equipment or save their credits for a future round.

Competitive Valorant requires accurate shooting, quick reactions, communication, teamwork, and strategy. Players must learn the maps, understand their Agent's abilities, and work together to attack or defend objectives. A successful team is not just made up of good individual players. Teams must communicate, coordinate their abilities, and make smart decisions together throughout the match.

Valorant combines individual skill with strategy and teamwork, making it an exciting competitive game for THS Esports.
