2019 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Faster than a speeding bullet, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, and more powerful than a locomotive is God's word. We will hear stories of five people from the Bible who did extraordinary things with God's help. Along with Bible stories, students will have a great time creating works of art, trying new experiments, singing praises to God, showing off their superhero skills in games, and having a healthy snack. So mark your calanders for June 24 - June 28 from 9:00am - noon. Cost for this event is $5.00 per student. Scholarships are available. Please contact Cathy Williams at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Five Loaves and Two Fish
Our next Five Loaves and Two Fish community luncheon will be Saturday July 13th from 11:00am - 12:30pm.
Come join us Friday June 21st for a fun night of BINGO. Doors open at 6:00pm, and BINGO starts at 7:00pm. Food is available for purchase.
The latest vehicle that will be given away by the Good News Garage Ministry is this Honda Civic. We are very happy to help Mary out in her time of need.
"Better Nutrition, Better Tomorrow"
The Stewardship Committee urges you to exercise the stewardship of your citizenship by participating in the 2019 Offering of Letters. We, along with many other congregations throughout the United states engage in this yearly effort to fight hunger and poverty here at home and throughout the world.
On June 23rd and 30th, we will have Offering of Letters material available in the narthex. A box (or basket) will be available to receive your letters.
On July 7th, the letters (or emails) will be dedicated at the altar.
