Design Brief and Analysis

Our class (8TC05), will be making a clock out of wood and other materials including acrylic, metal, nails and glue for our second wood tech assignment. It will be about 20cm in diameter and will use a pre-built clock mechanism that uses a battery to power the clock movement. This clock will be made for me and is going to be placed around my house, so my family and I will be the target audience/market. We must submit it by the 8th of November 2023. We also have to make a design folio to explain what we are making and how we are making it. We have to make sure it is as functional and aesthetic as possible, and we have to aim to meet a certain design style (e.g. Scandinavian or Art Deco). It must be submitted on time and has to be of the right size.
