Option 1

Positive

• Fits the Scandinavian design style

• Aesthetically pleasing

• Meets most of the design criteria

• Fits with the research because it is a circle, and the circle was tied for the most popular shape

Negative

• Complicated to make which means I might run out of time.

Interesting

• Very unique design

Option 2

Positive

• Looks nice and clean with good joints

• Also fits the design style with simplicity (only 3 parts) and functionality (has a stand)

Negative

• Hard to find wood thick enough for the cubes and it will also be hard to cut through wood that thick

• Joints may be hard to make

• Might be too large

Interesting

• It can free stand on its own and would be very stable, making it good for a table clock

Option 3

Positive

• Super simple so it will definitely be done in time and will be easy to make so that it is the same as the design

• Fits the primary research where the Octagon shape tied first

Negative

• Not as creative or unique

Interesting

• It is easy to make small or big depending on how I want it to look because it is only 1 piece
