Keep it conversational
Don’t worry about using formal language. Write with a relaxed, natural voice, just like you’d use for speaking. And keep exclamation points to a minimum.
This is personal
Show your recipient why this cause matters to both of you, and how gifts will make a direct impact. You should use the second person voice - just like we’re doing in this document and in the email templates provided below.
Get to the point
Keep your language tight and direct.
