Zerosixty accelerator announces Fall 2021 cohort focused on Digital Twins for the AEC industry

Los Angeles, CA September 16th, 2021 -

Today, Zerosixty is excited to announce it’s Fall cohort focused on digital twin technologies. The aim is to support digital twin workflows by connecting the digital and physical worlds in an attempt to enable the construction ecosystem. In 2018, Trimble Inc. announced the launch of Zerosixty, an accelerator program designed to help startup companies in the AECO industry make their moonshot ideas into reality. The first cohort focused on generative design, project communications and building efficiencies in time management. The second cohort focused on data-driven decision making, liquid based 3D-printing, real estate development analytics and distributed practice platforms for architects. Participating companies included Hypar, Jamb Collective, Join, Monograph, Soliquid, TestFit and TonicDM.

Just a few weeks ago Trimble Inc. reached yet another milestone when announcing a $200 million venture fund focused on investing in early and growth-stage innovative companies that align with Trimble's mission of transforming work in the agriculture, construction, geospatial and transportation industries.

As part of our mission accelerator startups who participate in our program will spend three months developing products and services that will help transform the AECO industry. The companies will participate in a variety of public and private demos, feedback sessions and participate in major industry events designed specifically to engage the extended design, construction, real estate and technology communities.

The Zerosixty program looks to continue building a platform to develop and showcase the next generation of entrepreneurs and their companies to investors, practitioners and industry leaders.
