The purpose of the Treynor High School Speech is driven by the philosophy of the Iowa High School Speech Association, which is, "...that no form of activity is any more important than that of learning to speak effectively." In order to do this, we seek to teach public speaking skills to our students and practice those skills through participation in local and state competitive speaking events in participation with the IHSSA.

Monday, April 5, 2027: All State Individual - University of Northern Iowa
