Full Name: Camryn Sue Copperstone
Parents: Chuck & Cecilia Copperstone
Siblings: Cassie (26), Callie (22), and I have to include my dog Hazel, 7, because she is just as much a part of the family as anyone else.
Parent/Sibling Trait that you Admire: Something that I admire is that they all work very hard for the things that they want in life. My mom and dad have worked hard their entire lives to support me and my sisters and for anything that we needed.
When I was young, I envisioned myself to be: When I was young I always envisioned myself to be a teacher, whether that was teaching art or a subject. I wasn't sure at that time if I wanted to teach elementary or high school, but I chose elementary.
Future Plans: This fall I plan to attend the University of Northern Iowa and major in Elementary Education and minor in Art.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Hopefully, in 10 years I am not lonely. I hope to be graduated in 10 years and have a stable job at a school in Iowa. At least by then I want to be married, have a nice house, and maybe a kid on the way.
What is your most memorable moment from school years at Treynor: I would say that my most memorable moments are from my freshman and sophomore year when I went to state with the Dance Team. I also loved being in the crowds at the football games where it was fun being on the sidelines cheering on the team, especially my senior year.
What extra-curricular activities were you involved in at Treynor? I was on the Dance Team, in Color Guard, in JOI Club, and I also cheered for football this year. I have also done studio dance for the last 15 years.
If you have a day without commitments, what would you most likely be doing? If I had a day without commitments I would most likely be doing just about nothing, as I love couch rotting. I also really like to clean and to organize, or I might be painting if I was bored.
What are some of your favorites (e.g. food, movies, books)? I can never pick a favorite movie or show, I watch too much to pick just one. I do love a good romance movie like Pride and Prejudice or action movies like Marvel. I would have to say that my favorite food is spaghetti or specifically my dad's steak. I don't read very often, but from the books that I have read my favorites would be Stolen by Lucy Christopher and The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. I love music and cannot live without it, I don't have a favorite genre, but I love Taylor Swift, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Queen, and Journey.
What will you miss the most about THS? The things that I will miss the most will be the teachers and my friends. I love all of my teachers and will definitely miss them a lot. I will also miss sitting in the stands and cheering on sports with my friends. I will always love the atmosphere we have at Treynor and I hope UNI will be similar.
What advice would you give underclassmen? The advice I would give to an underclassmen is don't try and rush through high school, live it to the fullest because once it's gone you'll want it back. It may seem like an eternity, but it will fly by, I promise. Also, don't try and be the coolest person and do what everyone else does, do what makes you happy and do it with the people who you want to do it with. Laugh, cry, grow, and do it all, but it's only worth it if you just have fun and be yourself.
