Full Name: Jackson Juelsgaard
Nickname: Jack
Parents: Amy
Siblings: Faith (20) & Alleyna (13)
Parent/Sibling Trait that you Admire: I admire my mom's ability to keep going no matter what life throws at her. My mom has been through it all, but she still keeps going everyday.
When I was young, I envisioned myself to be: In the NBA.
Future Plans: My plan is to get some training and education to be an electrician, to make a living doing that and hopefully someday start my own electrical business.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years: I hope to have a good paying job to where I don’t have to ever worry about money, and to have settled down and started a family by then. Having kids has always been something I have looked forward too. I have always loved hanging out with my cousins and being with them as they grow up, so its something that I cant wait to have of my own.
What is your most memorable moment from school years at Treynor: My most memorable moment form High School is when we would go to the Open Door Mission and me and my group of friends would always be given some of the hardest jobs, but we would always enjoy doing them no matter what they were. One year we had to mulch the entire property when it was about 30 degrees out, but even with the cold we had so much fun. The next year we had to carry tables and huge cabinets and other things around the whole property and it was very hard (like it took about 5 of us to lift one cabinet). No matter how hard it was though we always had a great time doing it.
What extra-curricular activities were you involved in at Treynor? I have been in Golf all 4 years of High School.
If you have a day without commitments, what would you most likely be doing? Hanging out with friends, probably playing basketball and talking about basketball. Otherwise I'm hanging out at home playing games or with family.
What are some of your favorites (e.g. books, movies, foods)? My favorite movie is the Breakfast Club, and my favorite food is Cheeseburgers. One of my favorite places of all time to eat though is Taco Bell.
What will you miss the most about THS? Waking up and seeing my friends everyday and getting through a new day everyday.
What advice would you give underclassmen? My advice to underclassmen is do not stress about the difficulty of high school. It’s way easier than you think. Just use your time for school work when you are given time in class, and use your time to mess around when you have nothing better to do.
