What an end to the season and end to my Junior racing, I had some of my best qualifying results, made some good moves, the races were not live streamed by BARC so thank you to Colin Jackson for the YouTube clips.

Friday: 

had great pace all weekend and was only getting quicker.

Saturday:

Race one P2 : loads of wheel spin of the line but got back up to second in the first lap, from then on it was about consistency and I created a gap to the cars behind and finished 2nd.

Race two P2 : in the opening laps I dropped down to 6th but after a couple battles and a perfect safety car restart taking me from 4th to 2nd. I stayed consistent and even brought my times down, not letting the leader get away despite being down on power with a considerable kink in my exhaust.

The day was finished off with the JSCC awards evening.

Sunday:

Race three DNF 💔: being only 7 points behind 3rd I needed to win the race to have a good chance at taking the last spot in the top three. I was expecting to have even better pace this race with my exhaust fixed and I was looking to take the win. After a poor start I tried to brake late into turn 2 to recover some lost ground, I locked up and I couldn’t get the car slowed down taking both me and championship rival Harvey Dent out the race. It’s shame a battle that started at the first round of the season ended with a crash but I sincerely congratulate Harvey on the third place.

Overall still a great weekend I made some of my best moves all year and had great pace and consistency, it’s frustrating that the last round ended with a crash but allot was learnt this weekend, I still came a way with two podiums and without the mistake in the last race I would’ve had a good shot at retaking third in the championship. It’s going to be a long winter break and I’m going to miss race-weekends both on track and off track but excited to see what 2023 brings as a Senior racer.
