Friday: 

Testing with Ards Instructor was limited due to the mixed conditions resulting in red flags in both test sessions, limited track time meant less time to learn the track. Weekend support by Jeakins race preparation. 

Saturday:

My first visit to Brands Hatch was not a usual race weekend, with the tragic accident on the Saturday, our qualifying session was understandibly cancelled, our thoughts went to all those effected, we are eternally grateful  for the marshals who work so hard to allow us to race and to keep us safe.

Sunday:

Due to the events that took place on the Saturday  race 1 was changed to a 15 minute qualifying session. Qualifying wasn't my worst but could have been better, struggling to get out on track at the right time to either take advantage of getting a clear run without traffic or working with team mates to get a tow from each other to set quick laps. 

Race 1, had a good start gaining a place, putting me into P20, still suffering with gearbox issues prevented a few more overtakes in the first few laps, still kept going for it, with the changable weather I knew that errors would be made and I had to be ready to make a move when it happened, managed to gain 3 more places bringing it over the finish line in P17. 

Looking forwards to the next rounds ar Silverstone.
