This weekend saw us at  Knockhill Race Circuit  for rounds 7,8 & 9 of the Civic Cup.

Thurs & Friday Testing :

Struggling with pace and quickly realising Knockhill is a track that you really need to know your car so wasn't where I expected to be considering I've been to the track previously with JSCC as I'm still learning the car.  Having said that the car felt good during Thurs & Friday practice, just lacked confidence I guess. Few tweeks here and there and lots of data sharing from the rest of the Pro Alloy Drivers. Finished Friday looking forward to qualifying on Saturday.

Saturday : 

Qualifying: 15th, I improved by over a second since Friday but not as much as I was hoping.

Race one: 15th, I expected to find some pace after quali but my times stagnated and I didn’t improve.

Sunday : 

Race two: 18th, I lost places early on battling then as the race progressed and tires got hot it was increasingly difficult to climb back up the order.

Race three: 13th, a much better and enjoyable end to the weekend with some fun battles and experienced gained.

Overall it was a positive end to the weekend and I look forward to progressing more at Cadwell Park another one of my favourite tracks on the calendar this year. Hoping to get back to the front of the grid and see what I can do.
