This weekend saw us at Brands Hatch  for rounds 16 &17 of the Civic Cup.

Friday Testing :

Pace was still down at start of practice which was strange as it was good when on dyno. After some investigation the team discovered something had worked itself loose and once tightened back up power was there...

Saturday : 

Free day to enjoy others racing and the fabulous hospitality put on by Pro Alloys, food drink and the band Operation 77 where amazing and great fun on the sim provided by Harry England's sponsors.

Sunday : 

Qualifying 12th:

My goal was to qualify in the top ten after sorting the power issue that plagued Silverstone. However, changing weather conditions lead to overheating the front tires by the end of the session when the track was fastest.

Race 1 11th:

Although I missed out on the top ten by only a few tenths, it was an enjoyable race with lots of clean racing. But, with lap times so close, it was hard to make significant progress.

Race 2 12th:

A constant battle from start to finish.

After dropping back in the second lap after avoiding some chaos, it was a fun race constantly battling and moving forward.

Although not the results I hoped for to end the season, Brands provided some great clean racing and I look forward to seeing what I can achieve next year, watch this space....
