100 Doors to Success is a program intended to create and foster professional mentor/mentee relationships between alumni, board members and/or friends of the University with current students. The purpose of this mentoring relationship is to:
Assist in preparing our students for the adjustment to professional life upon graduation;
Help to raise student awareness about the value of a liberal education in professional life;
Help students think creatively to find meaningful careers that carry forward their liberal arts education;
Encourage students to keep an open mind and explore the many possibilities for careers and professions, some of which they may not be aware;
Assist students in building a professional network to help navigate their way in the workforce.
Participants will be selected based on responses to the registration questions.
Matching will be based on a combination of factors including preferences selected by mentees and overlap in interests and background identified in program registration questions.
You will receive an email notification once you are matched to your mentor or mentee.
“Spike has been very helpful throughout my time at Transy. He is always ready to answer any questions I have about his time at Transy and the legal system I hope to be part of in the future. Spike also went with me to observe Fayette County court and was able to explain everything going on as the process was moving quickly. He is the best!”

Students who are active in the 100 Doors program are eligible to participate in the Alumni on Location trips. Students travel to metropolitan areas to meet with alumni in their workplaces. Alumni share their stories and give practical advice that will help students as they explore careers and enter the workforce. As part of the trip, students attend an alumni networking social with Transy alumni living in that particular area.
