District Software
This has information about approved district software, website subscriptions, iPad apps, and Google Chrome Apps & Extensions. When the software committee meets, they look at several issues in the approval process:
approval from school and district administration
do we already have approved software in place that might work as well
does it integrate with our existing platform
how is student data handled
have we asked for a free trial
what kind of analytics does it offer
if purchased from federal funding, it is also research-based and provide evidence that it works
The software committee is made up of information technology staff (networking, user support), instructional technology staff, teachers from PK-5, 6-8, and 9-12, and district administrators. All work collectively to make the best decisions for our district.
