Google CS First: Coding with Scratch
Google completely redesigned CS First! The new website and application went live in on January 25, 2021.
What is new and different?
Students log in with their GSuite for Education credentials
Teachers can import classes from Google Classroom
Students stay inside the CS First website and the Scratch domain is encapsulated in that website
No need for students to have to save work inside Scratch or create a second account
Teachers can view student work from a dashboard
All student accounts created before January 25, 2021, will be password reset after June 21, 2021. There fore it is advised that all teachers update their classes with the Class Update Tool. This will import all student shared projects from scratch.mit.edu so they are available in CS First. This will also allow students who joined and signed in before January 25 to be able to sign in to CS First after June 21, 2021. You can find the link to begin at https://csfirst.withgoogle.com/dashboard#whatsnew
