The TPS Clever Portal is a place where students and staff can log into a central repository of applications. Clever syncs classes and student rosters from TylerSIS (our student information system) each day. This saves staff the trouble of setting up classes, assigning usernames and passwords. Once students log into Clever, using a handy Clever badge or using their Google email and password, they are able to launch most district apps without having to remember additional logins or passwords.
For preschool, kindergarten, and first grade, students will log into Clever using the Clever app found on their iPads. For students in grades two through twelve, they will log into Clever on their Chromebooks by opening the Chrome browser, clicking on tps501.org bookmarks (found in the upper left) and selecting Clever Portal. They will log in with their Google credentials.
Teachers can set up classrooms, add apps, links, Bitmoji classrooms, Zoom links, etc., to make remote learning easier for their students. The video below explains how to do that.
