Welcome to the Ross Media Center!
Scholars come to the library with their class once a week for 30 minutes. Each class receives a 30 minute lesson from me, related to literature, library skills, or technology. We reserve 15 minutes each week for book checkout. Scholars may keep their books for one week.
Kindergarten students may checkout 1 book and it must stay at school.
First - Fifth Grades may checkout 2 books per week and they may take them home if they choose.
The mission of the Topeka Public Schools Library Media Program is to empower all students and staff to be effective users of information and information technology in order to communicate ideas and solve problems in an ever-changing world, and to foster life-long literacy.
