Year Two Weekly Update

Monday 11th December - Friday 15th December

Review (This week)

English : We re-reacted the story of Plop using shadow puppets and drama. We have a read a range of winter stories and have written predictions, recounts and descriptions. We have also written letters with the correct language and layout.

Maths : We have created and input data onto bar charts. We have practiced adding 2 digit numbers and worked on our 2,5 and 10 times tables

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much to all of you who came to watch our Christmas performance yesterday. The children worked so hard and I am so proud of how well they performed.

I have sent home a pack of optional homework in the children's folders for them to complete over the Christmas break. It is a selection of Maths, English, spelling and handwriting work. I have also given the children 2 reading books to read during the holidays.

I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Years and I look forward to seeing you all after the Christmas break.
