AS PART OF OUR TOPIC WORK THIS WEEK WE WERE LOOKING AT RANGOLI PATTERNS AND THE CHILDREN PREPARED FOR THEIR RANGOLI ARTWORK BY PRACTISING WITH FLOUR TO MAKE DIFFERENT SYMMETRICAL DESIGNS. NEXT WE WILL TRY WITH RICE FLOUR AND COLOURED SAND!

THE CHILDREN HAVE PLAYED SOME GREAT MEMORY GAMES IN THEIR SPEAKING AND LISTENING ACTIVITIES THIS WEEK. IN ONE OF THEM THEY HAD TO REMEMBER DIFFERENT OBJECTS THAT WERE ON THE BOARD AND IN THE OTHER WE PLAYED A GAME OF "I PUT IN MY BAG...". GREAT MEMORY SKILLS BY YEAR 3!
