PE: Strengthening Throwing and Catching skills.
Preview (Next week)
Maths: Strengthening our multiplication and division skills and putting them in to real-life scenarios.
English/Topic/History : Continuing our fascinating learning of the Ancient Egyptians, focusing more on their beliefs and jobs/roles as individuals.
Science : Experimenting different pushes and pulls
English:
We have: learnt, edited and performed poems. There were several focuses of this week. Can you spot any rhyme or alliteration within our poems? What do you think of the pace and rhythm? How is our volume?
Maths:
We have continued strengthening our understanding of: fractions, greater than and smaller than, equivalent fractions and fractions of amounts.
Speaking and Listening:
Examples of some students performing during Speaking and Listening lessons.
Science Day:
We discussed the purpose of magnifying glasses and microscopes before looking closer at things that made us the same and different. One physical example of what makes us unique are our fingerprints. This is how we proved it.
Homework : Spellings, times tables and mymaths have all been updated. Also all students have their tt-rockstar log in details if they would like to compete and strengthen their maths even more.
