Year Six Weekly Update

Monday 11th February - Friday 15th February

Review (This week) 

English : We have been focusing on higher level reading skills this week. We have explored two short texts from the books: 'Dodger' and 'Rooftoppers'. We have been looking at strategies to improve our comprehension skills and find examples in the text. 

Maths :  This week we have completed a variety of mastery style volume questions. We have consolidated our learning with a mixture of investigations across a range of topics.

Science: We have evaluated our science experiment on oxidising metals. We suggested reasons for the changes we observed and reflected on ways we could our improve our experiment in the future. 

Homework : 

• There will be no homework over half term. Please use this time to spend with your family, have fun and enjoy yourselves!
