Year One Weekly Update
Monday 13th April - Friday 17th May
Review (This week)
English: We went on a trip to New York City for the morning. We got checked by security and watched a safety video before leaving for NYC. We then wrote a recount all about our trip using different time connectives.
Maths : We have learnt what different notes and coins are used in Thailand and have been able to combine different coins to make the same amount.
Science: We continued to learn about forces and decided if a force was a push or a pull or both.
Preview (Next week)
English: We are going to be looking at the rhyme 'Three Blind Mice' and changing it to make it our own.
Maths : We will be learning about position and direction.
Science: We will be finding out how much we now know about forces.
