This week Year 4 enjoyed their "House Read" with the rest of the school. Here we can see Amazon house enjoying their read with their friends in Miss Norman's classroom!

Here, some of the children in Year 3 & 4 are working together to first of all match different representations of numbers from 1-1000 before organising them from smallest to biggest!

Together Everyone Achieves More!

During our English lessons this week the children were inspired by the wildlife that we are so fortunate to have in our school garden. The children worked together to think of some imaginative vocabulary to use for our garden description which we will be hoping to write next week. This is building on some of the adventurous vocabulary we had already been working on for our poem on rivers!

Mr Bignall, Mr Grant and Mr Hill would like to thank the Year 4 children for their hard work this week and commend them on how well they settled on the occasions where they worked with the Year 3 & 5 children - well done Year 4!

Mr Bray will be back to school as normal on Monday and I'm sure he can't wait to tell you all about his newborn daughter!
