Year 4 started the week on the track with a fantastic athletics lesson in PE where they worked on their agility; played some fun games and then practised their standing long jump technique.

This week in English we have been continuing to look at different genres and the 5 parts of a story. We also had some special Loy Krathong themed lessons where we looked at and wrote our own acrostic poems.

In Maths we continued to look at multiplication and division facts for the 6 and 9 times tables and overall the class is becoming much more fluent and confident.

The highlight of the week was on Thursday for the TPIS Loy Krathong celebation. Year 4 first performed the Loy Krathong song using recorders to our Early Years students, before taking to the stage and performing to the whole school. Thank you to everyone who came to watch us and supported with the Krathong making activity.

Have a great weekend and please contact me if you have any questions.

Many thanks,

Simon Bray
