It has been another excellent week at Tara Pattana. Some of the highlights included our Father's day celebrations where we had breakfast for dad and movie night on Tuesday organised by the PTA. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported these events.
In English we started the week with some independent reading before then moving on to our poetry unit where we looked at limericks and haikus. We had some excellent writing and performances.
This week in Maths we had a review of the topics that we have studied this term including place value, addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and perimeter. The week then ended with a fun team quiz.
In PE this week we had a fun game of Danish longball as part of our striking and fielding unit and then ended the week with swimming and some fun tag games.
In our topic lessons we continued to research about rivers and work on our PowerPoints which will be presented next week in class. In ICT we also looked at some of the features of PowerPoint and how it can be a powerful tool when presenting information.
Have a great weekend and pleae contact me if you have any questions.
